HOMELESSNESS AND THE HUMAN AURA

The rise of homelessness is rivalling the desperate times of the Great Depression, which saw a down turn in the economy. Masses of people were suddenly unemployed, homeless and hungry. My grandparents lived in a backyard chicken coop. Dirt floor, corrugated iron roof and walls, lined with old newspapers for insulation and candles for light. My grandfather dug a pit for cooking outside the coop. Twice a week he would visit produce markets in search for salvageable fruit and vegetables, either thrown on the ground or in rubbish bins. A securely fastened hessian sack, carried on his back. To prevent their food source from perishing in the heat of summer and damp of winter, root vegetables, apples and pears were placed in hole that was lined with several layers of hessian sacks and then back filled with soil. Prior to storage, any rotting sections of the food would be removed.

There are many reasons for homelessness.

Whether a person is homeless due to drug addition, unemployment, physical disability, divorce, eviction, poverty or business failure, aura colours do not portray each circumstance. In all, there is little colour variation.

A woven mix of pale grey, viridian, charcoal grey and emerald green coloured aura energy above the shoulders and along the arms, indicates a state of homelessness. However, if a person chooses to respond to their homelessness in with negativity or if they refused help, an addition of pale yellow, dusty pink, and pale blue will be present in their aura. If the person responds positively and has a plan to overcome their tragedy, the aura is filled with fawn, red, maroon, caramel and turquoise colours. Empowering a change of their reality.

I have two tiny homes on my property. Providing temporary accommodation for homeless individuals.

THE HOMELESS NURSE: A women in her early fifties was referred to us by a local charity. She had been living in her car for two years. The car broke down. Without a car she could not do her shift work. And for the first time in her life, she was unemployed. Her traumatic and stressful aura colours, was dotted with countless spots of maroon. This told me, that she had the will and the tenacity to rebuild her life. Little by little, with my support and help, her new reality emerged. Within ten weeks, her aura displayed, a new healthy self. The stressful colours of pale yellow and charcoal grey were replaced with the creative colours of turquoise, red, apple green and salmon pink, sprinkled with maroon polka dots.

THE HOMELESS TRADESMAN: For two years, a man in his early thirties had lived and slept among his tools in his work van. When his overnight parking zone was sold, he was referred to our property. Although he had a full time job, the cost of rent was too expensive for his budget. His aura, was dominated with the loneliness colour combination of mustard yellow, pale blue and pale pink. When he was six years old his father left the family, plunging he and his mother into poverty. I guided him to take control of his life. To use his trained skills to build a tiny house in which he could live independently and comfortably. I designed the floor plan and my husband Paul, helped with the construction. Within eight months the Tradesman’s aura was freed from the depleting energy of loneliness. Caramel , dark brown, russet brown, navy blue and apricot formed a coloured tapestry around his hands and feet. He went forward in the world with his head held high.

CANCER RECOVERY HOMELESSNESS: An artistic thirty year old woman in recovery from breast cancer sought our help. During her illness and treatment she was unable to work and had no money for rent. She constantly moved from one friend’s home to another. Eventually living in her car. Her aura was depleted of energy and riddled with fear and emotional trauma. Amazingly, within twelve weeks her aura changed completely. Pale blue, stimulating her perceptiveness. Prussian blue, had removed the deleted energy. Caramel, focused her attention on a return to work. Terracotta, challenging the conventional pity of a woman with no breast. Salmon pink, seeking to bring new life to her artistic vocation. Red-violet, inspiring the expansion of her personal power. Golden yellow, elevating her mind to a higher sense of consciousness. And apple green, a healing force of new life. The change in her aura was startling. And a pleasure to observe.

THE HOMELESS TEENAGER: We were asked to provide shelter for an eighteen year old girl who had fled her family in fear of retribution. I could see horrific traumatic and betrayal colours in her aura. Mustard, dark green, pale yellow, charcoal grey and rustic red. But I also saw the beautiful colours of new love. Iridescent green, apricot, and pale pink. I could see that she had undoubtedly met and fallen in love with her soul mate. It was confirmed when I met her nineteen year old boyfriend, Together their auras melded into one. Her family was a part of a religious cult. She, against her will, was betrothed to an older man in the cult.

The young couple’s solution was to marry quickly and move away to work in a country town. We did everything we could to help them achieve their goal. Twenty five years have passed. On a recent visit to their home, we were welcomed by this loving couple and their three adult sons.
