My Personal Aura Journey
I learnt to read an aura as fast as you can read a street sign.

1950’s….Year After Year I Grew More Astute
As a very young child I saw colours around the torso of people, and around plants, insects and animals.
My mother provided a safe haven in which I could share my aura experiences. I would sit on the front steps of our house to watch the auras of the people walking by. At the age of four, I would climb a ladder to look over a fence at the auras of the people, waiting at the bus stop.
My mother and grandmother were continually amazed by my aura analysis.
I spent several young years trying to fathom the meaning of each colour and the significance of colourful patterns woven together in plaits, cords, checks, stripes, spears, and transparent clouds.
My young school years taught me to be suspicious. I could see lies, deceit, fears, personality traits and pretense. I couldn’t trust my teachers either. In the school playground I sat quietly and alone.
Concerned for my personal development, my mother taught me that everyone has a tendency to tell lies and be deceitful. And it was only to be feared, when harmful to others. She had me look at the auras of the people who I knew loved me. My brothers, my father, herself and my grandparents. And so, I began to cautiously make friends at school. However, in my preteens and teenage years, the challenge of constantly seeing auras, without relief, caused me to become a loner.

1960’s / 1970’s Diverse Auras and Self-Empowerment
My self-taught aura analysis expanded into the outer realms of the aura. Giving rise to more curiosity and self-questioning.
Instantly I could see illness in a person, plant or animal. My mother wondered if I might become a doctor or a nurse.
Instantly I could see creative talents, healing and teaching skills.
Seeing auras proved at times, too much to handle. Aged 14yrs at 3am one morning, I left home to go in search of a place where I could to be free of people, and free, to think. I left a note for my parents “be back when I clear the thoughts in my head”. I hitch hiked, slept on beaches and exchanged my free labour for food. Three weeks had past before I returned home. My father, worried about me, but was comforted by my mother who knew that I could instantly see both the good and bad in people. Therefore staying clear of threatening and harmful situations.
At age 15yrs I left school and got a job in a local mechanics yard. Pumping petrol and checking the oil gauge on trucks. My parents enrolled me in an evening class to learn typing. They told me that it was more lady-like than servicing trucks.
My next aim was to broaden my understanding of people and of the world. To gain access to various industries I worked as a “temporary” ‘for an employment agency. I could choose my jobs. I worked for lawyers, stock brokers, real estate agents, shipping importers-exporters, magazine publishers, toy manufacturers, a Department store and a high-roller employment agency.

Paul Collins came into view. In his aura, I saw my soul mate. Ten days, following our first meeting, he asked me to marry him. We were both 17 years old. For me, what made our union even sweeter, was his father Toby, who quickly became my best friend and counsel for more than forty years.
