OBESITY REFLECTION IN THE HUMAN AURA
International medical research reports that there is an epidemic of obese children and adults in developed countries, who are destined to confront serious health challenges. They report that the cause is multifaceted. Junk food, emotional and behavioural issues, limited exercise, frequent snacking and eating too often and too much, health conditions, family heritage and significant trauma.
I decided to research how obesity is reflected in the human aura. Over several months I examined the auras of both adults, adolescents and young children.
When I observe the aura of a heavy weighted person it is like staring at a brick wall with hairline fractures, seeping energy, and exposing the inner being to the wind, rain and hail. Rocking the emotional, physical and intuitive self-compass. The colours of self-guidance are commonly a mix of apricot, pale blue, apple green and buttercup yellow. Together they create, healthy self-talk, strength of direction and a sense of moving forward in life.
However, in the obese person the colours are splintered and wrapped in pale grey, reinforcing the trap of becoming a victim of self-circumstance.
The colours don’t necessarily prevent a person from achieving their goals. But they can create some deep-seated self-identity issues.
In the 1990’s I drew and analysed the aura of a young woman aged 22yrs. Her weight was ten sizes above her normal size. Hair line fractures in her aura were intertwined with the colours sepia, pale grey, viridian and dusty pink, directing me to discuss the possibility of sexual abuse. She cried. It was rape. This very pretty girl, had piled on weight to repel the male species. At age 25yrs she met a young man at work. She supported him through his marriage breakdown. Their friendship grew out of mutual respect for one another. They planned to marry as soon as his divorce was settled. As the wedding plans unfold, her weight just fell away. Within ten months, and with no help from diets, pills or potions, she naturally returned to her normal body shape and weight. Why - because she had met someone who loved her for herself and not her body.
The Human aura reflects a variation of issues associated with obesity. Food noise in the mind summons food as comfort, and attention seeking behaviour. It has similar ‘terracotta’ patterns as the addictive habits of smoking and alcohol. Interestingly, similar patterns can also be seen in the auras of those who exercise regularly and eat poorly.
Trauma and hunger walk hand in hand. Whether experienced as a young child or in a past life. Somewhere and at sometime, the mind has recorded a time of food deprivation, thirst, hunger or starvation. It recognises that food and liquids maintains life. The downfall of modern society, is access to quick and easy food, laced with habit forming salt and sugar. It hooks into the pleasure centre and creates a craving for more.
Joanne was a natural health practitioner. Although she loved her work, she felt self-conscious due to her obese figure. During childhood her mother died. She lived with her father in the home of her grandparents. Over a seven year period both her grandparents and father died. She went to live with married step-sister, who three years on, died of breast cancer. Joanne married at age nineteen years and had two children. A loving but domineering husband reinforced her insecurities. She became obese. When the 26 year marriage broke down, Joanne found herself living alone. Slowly her weight reduced.
The human aura clearly defines that Obesity
is not about self-control.
In order to return to the inner knowing
that food is to fuel body organs,
natural healing of the mind, body and spirit is required for inner-self wellness.
