Changes in the Aura in the past 70 Years
1950’s - 1960’s
The average aura displayed plaited threads of burgundy, apricot, dark brown, and pale blue colours. Depicting physical strength, a level of self-esteem, a capacity to combat life’s ups and downs and the ability to communicate their wants and needs. An underlying colour of jade green gave them a strong sense of community and team work. The Workers Unions grew in strength. Women began to push for equal rights. In the late 1960’s Interwoven shades of brown and cream commonly entered the aura. Heralding a deep yearning to improve their lot in life.
1970’s to 1980’s
Throughout the 1970’s the average aura became flooded with ribbons of turquoise seeking to develop the skills to rise above their birth-class. However shades of greenish-blue viridian and pale grey, reflected personal trials, poor decision making and a reduction of self-esteem.
Throughout the 1980’s thin cords of dark green and yellow appeared in the average aura. Demonstrating mental stress and being bogged down with self-doubt and self-denial. The appearance of reds and greens showed a surge in creativity and healing-nurturing skills.
1990’s to 2000
The average aura exhibits an increase of relationship fractures on a scale that I had not seen before. Orange-red spots appear reflecting that people are easily led by advertising and charismatic leaders. And by community and/or political causes. Several fine layers in shades of yellow, represent the growth of individual intelligence and egotism. The strong auric colours of the 1950’s, 1960’s and the 1970’s are in decline. Existing only in close-knit family groups with traditional values.
2010 - 2025
One would expect that with the advance of technology, the human aura would reflect progress. However it does not. Various shades of yellow scattered through the aura show the growth of intellect but at the cost of Self. Dusty pink frequently appears in auras indicating a shirking of personal responsibility and emotional immaturity. Melded with an orange-brown colour, the average aura shows that people are feeling vulnerable and seek self-gratification. The orange-red spots of the 1990’a still hover in the aura. The effects of the modern colour combination show a reduction of emotional intelligence, emotional maturity and clouded judgements. Life frustrations rise.
A recent visit to my 96 year old parents in a local nursing home, provided an exciting opportunity for me to witness the auras of old folks and the younger nursing staff as well as the kitchen staff. A mind blowing experience. Old people with their strong resilient auras and younger people with their vulnerabilities, fears and life frustrations. What does this mean for all of us? We are all aware of technological advancements. But do we know what we have left behind, or lost on the journey of throw-away relationships, fast service, fast food and convenient living. Consuming products that masquerade as food. Where do we go to from here?
