A CAREER AND THE HUMAN AURA

It might be surprising to know that the Human aura does not depict what or which career a person should undertake. It does however display colours that clearly communicate naturally ability. If shades of yellow are paired with red, the person is an intelligent, creative thinker. Lending itself to all sorts of careers. When apple green, pale blue, yellow and apricot are paired together, they represent a caring, thoughtful, healer with excellent communications skills. Lending itself to all manner of the healing and counselling professions. The aura does not clearly define a career but it reflects the over all ‘nature’ of the career or vocation.

CHANGES OF CAREERS

For many people, their careers may change with time. My husband started his working career as an engineer. Didn’t like it. Studied, and worked as a surveyor for 20 years. When his employer closed the company, Paul retrained as a Naturopath, Iridologist, Bowen therapist and an Aromatherapist specialising in labour and childbirth, and bed wetting in children and adolescents. Each Thursday, his clinic would be filled with late term, pregnant mums coming to get Paul’s special blend of natural scented oils. Designed to prevent cramping, and to reduce muscle strain during labour and childbirth. Pregnant mums sitting in the waiting room could be heard to say “I had a terrible time with my first child. A friend told me about Paul’s oils. So I gave it go when I had my second child. What a difference it made. I wouldn’t be having this third child if it wasn’t for Paul’s oils.” My husband Paul, was forty years old when he retrained and became a healer. Work that served his soul-filled need to heal and nurture. Needless to say, that his aura displayed all the vibrant colours of a healer and a shoulder on which to cry.

DISCONTENTED AT WORK

During my many years of aura analysis, I would hazard a guess, that at least 50 % of the people who sought my counsel, were searching for a new career. It’s easy to see that a career path may or may not fully serve one’s needs. In years gone by, people worked a job that provided for their needs and then built their life and interests outside of work. I have witnessed doctors, nurses, architects, engineers, chefs, tradesman, social workers, teachers and countless other professions, walk away from careers in which they had invested most of their life. Most wee disillusioned. Each having, once believed that their career would fill their every need.

My son, since childhood, had wanted to be a Chef. With great gusto he approach what he believed to be his true vocation. But after twelve years, the constant tiredness and limiting hours in which to engage in a social life, he walked away and never looked back. He retrained so that he could work from home and take his children to and from school each day. Something on which he places great value.

When you are discontented at work, the aura emanates colours that reflect it. No mount of spiritual enhancement will restore the balance of the aura. Change needs to happen.

PERSONAL SPACE FOR THOUGHT - THE GAP YEAR

For the past eighteen years, on our farm, we have shared time with hundreds of backpackers from corners of the world. All were on a gap year from school to explore the world in the hope that at the end of their journey, they would have a clear picture of their career path. None who have crossed my path ever returned home with their original concept. They had come to us to learn farming skills. Their auras, awash with self-doubt, self-analysis and some were completely directionless. When I shared my analysis with my husband, we forged a plan to help each of them to realise their true potential and future path. In the years that followed, we had the the pleasure to witness their personal progress.

In 2019 when our property was completely destroyed by wildfire, the backpackers organised “Crowd Funding” to assist our recovery. Funds came from the Ukraine, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden Switzerland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Argentina, Chile, Spain, France, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Hungary, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia, United States, Canada, Peru, Uruguay, and Brazil.

My husband and I had not realised just how many hearts and minds we had touched. And I am proud to know and care for them and their families.

The gap year adventure had allowed each of the backpackers, to not only experience the big wide world but also to discover both their strengths and vulnerabilities,

I am left wondering if an enforced end of school gap-year would see less bewildered and overwhelmed students. I have walked through the campus of several universities and seen the auras of countless students, perplexed and bordering on self-doubt.

To me, when I look at an aura, I can clearly see that Life is the classroom and Experience is the Teacher.
